With Braver Angels of Wilmington NC
We bring together people across political divide through discussion groups, social gatherings, and community service to foster a respectful exchange of ideas and greater understanding.
We offer book clubs, religious groups, clubs, companies, and other organizations workshops and presentations to help build skills for decreasing political polarization in our community.
Your tax-deductible support for the Braver Angels Alliance of Wilmington NC will help us bring more events to our community that help bridge the political divide.
As individuals, we try to understand the other side’s point of view, even if we don’t agree with it.
In our communities, we engage those we disagree with, looking for common ground and ways to work together.
In politics, we support principles that bring us together rather than divide us.
Today, Americans on opposite sides of the political spectrum don’t only disagree on issues — they increasingly dislike one another. It's not healthy for our communities, our country or our children. We need to find ways to communicate in a civil way again.
Skeptical that it's possible? So were we.
Local Alliance members Nancy Cunningham & Eddie Jones speak with WHQR's Benjamin Schachtman about Braver Angels of Wilmington's work to decrease political polarization in our community.
